Who didn't want to be Snow White growing up? Well, except for my brother of course.
Snow White came out in 1937, and it is still watched by new generations today. I really don't think Walt Disney had a clue it would be so popular close to eighty years in the future! In addition it is no wonder that Cosplayers find this character so appealing. She is the princess we all wanted to be growing up, and at comi-con's we get the chance to be one for a little while.Over the years there have been many critics of this Disney Princess. Roger Ebert called her "a bit of a bore"(Link). However, that little bore is in the top 100 movies of all time, as well as winning a special Oscar. So take that! I don't care what anyone says. It is a innocent story, and it should not be analyzed with adult jaded opinions. Who wants a harsh reality Snow White at 5 years old? Here is a clip from this children's classic, kind of bring back memories for me.
